Our program is founded on the belief that children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. EXCEL Learning Center provides an environment where children can thrive, grow, and foster a love for learning. Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to be developmentally appropriate and based on the interests and needs of the children. We focus on areas such as language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, art, social-emotional and physical development to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
EXCEL Learning Center uses the Thinking Kids Curriculum, which is a research-based curriculum that engages all learning ages and styles, created by teachers with over 40 years of experience. This curriculum aligns with Texas' early learning guidelines and standards. In addition, our curriculum is built on a variety of modalities from over 50+ years of teaching within Dallas Independent School District.
We offer an extensive Curriculum which meets the unique needs of two to five-year-olds providing intentional instruction in key areas of development thus preparing your child for an incredible path to school readiness.
We believe that children learn best through actively engaging with people, places, and things within their environment. Children are involved in hands-on experiences, real-life adventures, and assisted discovery as they explore concepts through play.
Classes are divided into learning centers which allow children to explore, learn, and play.
Students are taught on the level of which challenges their intellect. Some of the subjects they study include language and development, phonics, reading, writing, numbers, and art.
The children often participate in activities that are aligned to the Curriculum such as:
Legos, circle-time, exercise, music, dancing and singing, dress up through dramatic play,
cars/trucks/planes, arts and crafts, puzzles, flash cards, animals/dinosaurs, trains, musical instruments, balls, dolls, various learning toys, various games, blocks, song games science, and puppets.

Excel Learning Center is proud to partner with ResponsiveEd® Texas Pre-K Network to provide FREE half-day Pre-K 3 & 4 with the option for full-day child care.
Required documents include:
Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Guardian ID, Proof of Address, Pre-K Eligibility Documentation,
and Immunization Records.
